Another imaginary character from my self-invented back history of Game of Thrones. Just because there hasn't been a queen regnant on the Iron Throne doesn't mean that there couldn't have been a queen of one of the Seven Kingdoms, before the Targaryens united them, right?
Here's Queen Rowena, a historical Queen of Mountain and Vale, ruling her kingdom from the impregnable Eyrie, perched high up in the mountaintops. Arrogant and stern, she was descended from purest Andal blood and wrought her judgment harshly on her enemies (or something.)
The Arryn kings wore the Falcon Crown, and Rowena (an actual historical name in the Arryn family, as per GRRM) wears it proudly in a regal habilliment of Arryn white and sky blue azure.

I'm working on a fanfiction story for Game of Thrones, and one of the principal players is House Arryn of Gulltown. Rowena could be the younger sister of Lord Roran Arryn of Gulltown. Does this sound interesting?
